African Mak Information

This is a wooden Zulu war mask. This mask was worn by a chosen dancer, at war preparation. It could be worn in many different ways, covering the face, as a helmet, covering the whole head, or as a crest, resting on his head. It represents a spirit, and many people believed, that the spirit of the ancestors possessed the dancer. During the ceremony, the wearer is able to communicate with his ancestors. The masks would be honored with gifts and ceremonies.

African Mask

I chose this mask, because I liked the its shape, and the detail it has. It may not have barely any color, but it has different shades of brown and black. If you look at it  from afar, it looks like its a real human head. This mask is actually a Zulu war mask, and it has been hanged on one of the walls of the White House.

- It means that you should say what's on your mind, and not be afraid, before it's too late. You should always speak what's on your mind and not hesitate to say something, because if you don't, you might regret it.

Mosaic

A mosaic is the art of creating images by assembling tiny pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials. Tesserae, the roughly cubic, small pieces of glass, stone, or other materials, are used to create a pattern, or picture.

I chose this mosaic, because the small tiles are smaller pictures used to create a bigger picture(mosaic).  

Can a woman be as strong a leader as a man in times of peace and war?

A woman can be as strong a leader as a man. Gender doesn't matter,both men and women are equal. A good leader has to be trained properly, the fact that he's a woman or man doesn't matter. The only thing that matters, is if the leader is able to lead his country and take care of his people. He also has to be responsible and take full responsibility of his actions. Whether a leader is male or female he has to be strong, so he can fight foreign warrior tribes invading the country.  There are a lot of women that are stronger or/and smarter than most men are. As a result, both men and women can be great leaders!
